About the function space

Watson's is a fully licenced private event venue only 3km from Cairns CBD that is perfect for mid - large scale private or business event. The indoor and outdoor spaces can be styled and decorated to suit any theme, and there is 4-star resort accommodation right across the road, which makes it very convenient for both local and out-of-town guests.

The venue includes an air-conditioned Club Room, an undercover outdoor Patio, an open-air Laneway, and a large Marquee Lawn. There is also a private air-conditioned meeting room perfect for small workshops or business meetings. Combine them all for a great celebration.

There is also a 10m red carpet for hire for those special events.

The breakdown is as follows:
Up to 40 people: $500 min spend

100 - 150 people: $2500 min spend
150+ people: $3500 min spend

If you do not require alcoholic beverages there is an upfront fee of $500 to cover staff and set-up costs.

Cleaning is included in the hire cost. Excessive cleaning costs will be charged additional.

Underage policy

Underage guests are permitted until close (12am), providing the underage guest is in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising them. One separate responsible adult per each underage guest.
