About the function space

Ideally situated in the heart of Cairns, The Woolshed is an iconic place to party.

Overlooking the beautiful fig trees of City Place, it is an upstairs saloon style venue with a timber balcony awaiting your next function. There is a private bar and great views.

Woolshed opens to the public at 9pm but that doesn't mean it is closed to your party. Stay around and enjoy world class resident DJs and high-energy shows that will keep your party going into the wee hours.

Or you can head downstairs to The Cotton Club, Woolshed's more chilled sister venue.

Functions can commence earlier.

Remain in the venue free of charge after it opens to the public, and continue celebrating. Or head downstairs to The Cotton Club for after-party cocktails. The Cotton Club is also free.

Underage policy

Underage guests are permitted until 9pm, providing the underage guest is in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising them. One separate responsible adult per each underage guest.
