About the function space

The Lord Alfred is an iconic, heritage listed pub which dates back to the end of the 19th Century.

Located across from the police barracks on the north-eastern end of the Caxton Street party precinct, The Lord Alfred is in a fantastic spot with public transport access.

Upstairs Verandah Bar is Lord's premier function room and features a gorgeously large verandah which wraps around the room and overlooks Caxton Street, The Barracks and Suncorp Stadium. Sip cocktails and toast to your good fortune with the starlight twinkling in the background. Aah, now that's a function with style!

Then it's time to hit the bar for some shots and boogie down with the full nightclub facilities inside. A pool table is in the corner for those seeking a quieter activity, or you may choose to cover it and use it for your gifts or cake.

The food is made in our restaurant fresh and delicious.

There is also a private entrance and stairs from Petrie Terrace for a true VIP experience.
