The Thornbury Local foresaw the blossoming of Thornbury into a cool inner suburb way before it happened.

Bar and meeting place, it attracts people from far and wide to soak up its cool friendly vibe.

The Loft upstairs boasts all the amenities you will ever need. Friendly and fun bar staff. Function bar fully stocked to the requests of the function organiser. Function menu can be modified to fit specific dietary needs.

Private patio sheltered and heated for rainy or cooler nights. Venue conveniently located directly in front of busy tram line (Tram 86).

The balcony can not exceed a maximum load limit of 16 people.

Functions can commence from 9am.

Children are allowed in but strictly only with a parent (that does not include siblings or relatives), it is illegal otherwise.

Underage policy

Underage guests are permitted until 10pm, providing the underage guest is in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising them. One separate responsible adult per each underage guest.
