About the function space

Since 1875 The Lake View Hotel has been an iconic part of Ballarat. Once one of 13 original hotels that lined the banks of Lake Wendouree, The Lake View is the only one that remains. It must be good!

As the years have passed, The Lake View has been a constant throughout the ups and downs of life around the lake, and it has evolved into a modern venue and function centre.

The upstairs Marble Lounge will delight an entertain your guests with its modern and versatile layout and decor. A stunning marble bar acts as a centrepiece while your guests, eat, drink and mingle.

There is also a fantastic balcony for picturesque nibbles and cocktails overlooking the tranquil water. It has cafe blinds and heating in winter to ensure comfort while enjoying the alfresco area.
