About the function space

Mr B's is a site rich in history. It has housed a butcher, a confectioner and Sydney's best Chinese restaurant (which was also the first to serve Yum Cha). In a previous incarnation, this venue was a popular gathering spot for the local Chinese community.

But that's all in the past. Mr B's now has 3 bars, outdoor seating with smoking area and dining. The venue is a versatile platform that can be booked for various events from fashion shows to live performances and stand-up parties.

Our stylish mezzanine cocktail lounge area is decorated with sprawling day beds, lounges and marble topped tables. It also features a private smoking area, bar and lift access is available.

Before 10pm, there is a fortnightly-updated Nightlife music database system with a state of the art sound. It is venue-controlled and plays top 100 and party tunes.
