About the function space

Formerly a grungy car tyre building, the now incredibly glamorous Leichhardt Hotel sits proudly on bustling Norton Street.

The state of the art design and plush art deco styling make the Leichhardt the perfect spot for celebrating.

Located on the the 1st floor of the venue, the Gallery Level comprises 2 versatile areas - Gallery and Balcony. They can be joined into one room or separated by glass bifold doors to suit your function.

The space boasts its own fully stocked bar, lounges and booths, second bar access point from the Balcony, elevated DJ booth, private bathrooms and pool table.

Function food is made in the venue mouth-wateringly fresh for your guests' pleasure.

You can have a pumping dance floor near the bar, relaxed booths to one side and food and mingling space on the other side on the balcony. Or whatever layout suits you. We will work alongside you to create the ideal function.

For all functions please supply a complete guest list with first names and surnames two weeks prior to your function. The Leichhardt includes security at no extra cost and will use your guest list to ensure that all arrivals have been invited by you. This enables you to relax and enjoy your all-important event.

All IDs will be scanned on entry.

Underage policy

Underage guests are permitted until 11pm, providing the underage guest is in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising them. One separate responsible adult per each underage guest.
