About the function space

This renown venue was once located on George Street, but the outbreak of the plague in 1900 saw many demolitions, including that one.

It was relocated to its current Rocks location, and charmingly retains its Edwardian structure and some of its wonderful original fittings including saloon doors, etched signage and metal awnings.

With delicious fresh food made onsite and a private bar, the Wine Emporium on the ground floor continues the great hospitality the heritage pub is known for. Lovely wooden furniture provides adequate seating while still allowing plenty of versatility and mingling space.
