The Royal Exhibition Hotel's Rooftop Terrace Bar is Surry Hills' best kept secret. From the grand marble staircase and exclusive indoor bar to the balmy outside atmosphere.

Retract the roof on warm summer nights and let your celebration sizzle, with dappled moonlit ambiance and loads of atmosphere.

The Rooftop is accessible via lift, and we have 14 accommodation rooms available for the convenience of your guests. Enjoy a complete function experience at the Royal Exhibition.

Our food is cooked onsite and will have mouths watering in anticipation. Nibbling canapes and accessing your private bar while on your own party rooftop space with gorgeous views - it doesn't get much better than this.

Functions can start earlier.

Continue celebrating downstairs with us until the wee hours. Our main bar and beer garden are open Mon-Thurs until 4am and weekends until 6am. We have excellent background music and a chilled vibe.

Underage policy

Underage guests are permitted until close (12am), providing the underage guest is in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising them. One separate responsible adult per each underage guest.
