About the function space

The recently renovated band room in our beautiful heritage listed building plays host to some of Melbourne's legendary local musical acts every week. Equipped with state of the art PA system and a raised focal stage, the first floor space provides the perfect platform for corporate presentations, party speeches and even nuptial vows. Featuring three separate entertaining areas, two fireplaces and its own private bar, the floor can be moulded to be both cosy or generously accommodating for up to 90 seated guests, or over 150 standing.
Our team here at The Grace Darling are here to make the organisation of your event easy and stress-free, and are able to help every step of the way, as little or as much as our customer needs.

We are fully equipped for hosting live music and have an in-house list of professional audio equipment for use at no extra cost. Our surround sound PA system can be easily connected to an iPod or Mp3, as well as is suitable for use by bands and DJs in conjunction with our 16 channel mixer.
