For over 150 years, the bluestone walls of this famed establishment have provided solace and sustenance to Melbournians and visitors alike. Now housing Captain Melville, it has become the destination for accessible dining, imbibing and revelry – all within Melbourne's oldest public house.

The entire venue includes: Front Bar area, Indoor Courtyard Dining Area, Private Function Room and Level 1 Loch & Key cocktail Bar.
Availability: All area can be booked individually for exclusive & non-exclusive events.
Capacity of entire venue: 300 people.
Facilities: Both indoor and outdoor area, 3 bar to purchase drinks from, AV/PA system available to use, play your own music, flexible with decorations
Food: Cocktail finger food packages available, 2 and 3 courses menu for sit-down dining available. All using house-made ingredients where possible. Head chef, Mark Santos, who has earned his stripes at many iconic Melbourne establishments clearly presents his mission to create high quality food for all.
Drinks: Suffer no longer from scarcity of choice for we provide pleasing liquor supplies to quench the thirst of each and every passing party. Victorian wines and beers are showcased alongside iconic Australian and international varieties. Our cocktails are old-fashioned with names paying playful reference to captain Melville's era.
