Billy Boy Blue is a European inspired restaurant and bar serving up a unique menu of European style peasant food with a unique wine list put together by the restaurant sommelier, Dan Tesoriero. It includes a list of wines from Europe and Australia that can be matched with the food, with many wines by the glass not available elsewhere in the area. Function bookings can enjoy a glass of Ruggeri Prosecco from Valdobbiadene, Italy on arrival and a choice of red, white and rosé from other regions of Europe, alongside canapes crafted by British chef Douglas Kerr. The restaurant is an elegant setting in Carlton North's renowned Rathdowne Village, boasting the only terrace on the street for alfresco dining and drinking, protected from the harsh sun of summer, and the rain. Smoking also allowed. Billy Boy Blue is the perfect setting for many functions from birthdays, engagement parties, Christmas parties, meetings, work functions, hens and bucks nights, and low-fuss elegant wedding receptions.
