About the function space

Spread over two stylish levels, Fortitude Valley's GPO Hotel is one of Brisbane's finest examples of Victorian Italianate style architecture, and is bound to impress.

The street-level Manhattan Lounge is a chic room with dazzling red carpet, ottomans, tables and plenty of mingling space for you and your guests.

The chefs provide a range of options to suit all budgets and tastes including platters, canapes, noodle boxes and petit fours for cocktail functions and other parties. The staff will endeavour to deliver a fabulous event catered exclusively to your needs, an event worth remembering, and an event worth talking about.

Conveniently there is a nightclub called Republic just upstairs, so after your function you can party on until the wee hours. There is also an abundance of restaurants, cafes, bars and other nightclubs in the surrounding Valley precinct. The night is yours!

Further conditions

When booking a function all guests will receive free entry to the nightclub to further enjoy your night, saving $10 per head.

Once your exclusive function is finished you and your guests may continue your party in the Republic bar and/or Lounge bar which are all upstairs at the GPO.

Underage policy

Underage guests are permitted until 10pm, providing the underage guest is in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising them. One separate responsible adult per each underage guest.
