About the function space

This wonderful heritage listed and uniquely charming venue is full of character.

It is ideally located across from the Petrie Terrace Barracks within the famous Caxton Street entertainment precinct. The Lord Alfred has public transport nearby and Suncorp Stadium just down the road. It is certainly a brilliant place to have a party.

The Lounge Bar is a chic room with ottomans, tables, plenty of party space and a large window overlooking Caxton Street.

Delightful party food created fresh in our kitchen will leave your guests satisfied and in party mode.

The Lounge Bar is a fabulous area with long banquette seating and big bay windows. Your function bar is sometimes shared with the adjacent Squires Bar (if there is a party on there), in which case you get a private section of it for you and your guests. If Squires is vacant then you get an exclusive bar for your party.

Underage policy

Underage guests are permitted until 10pm, providing the underage guest is in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising them. One separate responsible adult per each underage guest.

Seasonal surcharges

On public holidays there is a 15% surcharge. In November and December, Friday and Saturday booking will attract room hire and will require an initial deposit of $1000 prior to the event.
