About the function space

The Ellington Jazz Club has established itself as Perth's sophisticated choice for music, food and drinks with now more than 5 years experience under its belt. All of that sophistication continues up into our fully-equipped lounge bar and intimate private rooms upstairs which are perfect for your event.
Every event is unique; our Director of Events will tailor an event to suit you. Theme parties are particular highlights; Gatsby, Moulin Rouge and Chicago, suspenders, feather boas and flapper dresses are just a few of the themes perfect for our club and can suit birthdays, engagements, corporate events and wedding receptions.

There are three options with regards to music:

1) Have the live music show(s) from downstairs broadcast upstairs via surround sound and flat screen TVs. Live music shows run from 7:30pm - 10pm Mon-Sat, with an additional show from 11pm - 1:30am Friday and Saturday, and on Sunday shows from from 6:30pm - 9pm.

2) Have one of our jazz, lounge or RnB playlists playing upstairs during your function.

3) Bring an iPod or other mp3 player with an aux input and have your own playlist playing during your function.

Volume is adjustable at all times to suit your needs.

- $10 per head charge for functions of fewer than 20 guests
- $45 cakeage fee if you would like to bring any kind of cake or dessert
- $250 fee for early open (before 6:30pm Mon-Sat, before 5:30pm Sun)
- $50 per 50 guests fee for self-catering

Underage policy

Underage guests are permitted until 12am, providing the underage guest is in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising them. One separate responsible adult per each underage guest.
