About the function space

This iconic venue located next to the beautiful Botanical Gardens has a great reputation for the service and quality of our dining and function facilities.

Named in honour of one of Australia's all-time great racehorses, the Archer Room has quite a claim to fame. Archer won the first two Melbourne Cups and was once stabled here in this very building.

History aside, the The Archer Room will impress. It is a bright spacious area with a stunning atrium style roof and vertical garden, fireplace, private bar and access to the terrace area where smoking is permitted.

The function space's beautiful botanical feel is perfect for all kinds of cocktail parties and dining also.
