About the function space

Ideally located on bustling Mitchell Street is Monsoons, Darwin's original cinema building. The venue has been restored and remodeled into a happening city venue oozing with party atmosphere while maintaining traditional pub values.

Our focus is on great beer, distinctive wines at an decent price, fresh great food and excellent service. Our formula for a great night out is popular, with queues snaking up the street all night long.

The mid section is a spacious area in the heart of the venue. It allows you to enjoy all the fun and action, while cosy and exclusive in your private area. No need to line up - you and your guests have your own area reserved from the start of the evening.

You get hospitality priced drinks all night, and your own bartender and section of the bar. Should you decide to have a bar tab, wristbands or vouchers will be allocated so that nobody goes thirsty.

Finger food will delight also. At Monsoons we will help you to design the perfect party!
