About the function space

Located on the foreshore of Lake Ginninderra, "The Lighty" is only minutes from Bruce Stadium, the University of Canberra and Belconnen Town Centre.

Skyy is our premium function room, and it has great ambiance with mood lighting and candles.

There is a pool table available for use, or it can be converted to a party table for presents/cake.

We have a full range of beverages and can stock any special requests. Our delectable finger food is made onsite, and delivered fresh to your party.

We can decorate or you may do it yourself, as the room will be available to you for 2 hours prior to commencement of your function. And we can even supply you with a personalised invitation template to get your party started.

If you want to BYO DJ we can provide appropriate table/s, power etc, but they would have to provide all of their own equipment including speakers.

Another option is for us to stream the main bar DJs into Skyy Bar. They play old and new popular songs until 2am.

If and when we open to the public we will stream in our DJs.

Functions can start at 6pm or even earlier.

The hire charge is $100 per hour for a minimum of 3 hours. The listed hire charge is based on 3 hour hire.

Minors must be off the premises by 9pm and must not enter the main room.

After the function finishes, if enough function guests remain but are not buying drinks, you may retain exclusive use of the room, but we may close the bar. Guests can use the main bar at any time.

If and when we open the room to the public, feel free to remain in the venue and stay in this room, or party in the main bar with our DJs until 2am.

Underage policy

Underage guests are permitted until 9pm, providing the underage guest is in the company of a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising them. One separate responsible adult per each underage guest.
