This charming inn was constructed in 1857, and characteristic of the pioneer era, was clad with handmade vertical timber slabs. It quickly became a regular refreshment stop for the Queanbeyan-Yass mail coach.
The inn's excellent reputation continues, with modern touches to make your function a smash hit.
The Kookaburra Room is a gorgeous rustic barn-like space with vaulted ceilings, timber finishes, lovely wallpaper and signature lighting. It accesses the adjoining shared beer garden for alfresco moonlight cocktails and starlight beers.
The main bar is just inside past the beer garden and only a few metres away, ensuring your guests are well hydrated throughout the evening.
The Kookaburra Room is also ideal for intimate dinner functions. A set menu can be created or orders can be placed in advance from our regular food menu.
