Inspired by its home near the Yarra, Concrete Boots bar pays tribute to the suburb’s less gentrified days when unfortunate local gangsters may find themselves themselves sporting concrete boots in the water. It even has bullet holes to prove it – the front door is surrounded by pistol round remnants fired by Squizzy Taylor.
The decor is far from criminal, with concrete (of course), blonde wood and glossy black tiles as your party backdrop.
Concrete focusses on craft beers, local wines, sexy cocktails and great food made inhouse. Or you can keep costs down by doing your own food on the premises.
