About the only real back street pub in Prahran, the Flying Duck is half dining, half public bar. We'll start with the dining; pub-style red brick walls and an informal atmosphere means it's a popular place with young and old. There's plenty of chatting going on, so if you want a pub dinner with jovial company, then this is the one to go for. Duck through the door into the public bar and things become truly local truly quickly - and remember, a locals pub is not an easy thing to find in Prahran.

Outdoor Area / Beer Garden

A massive, beautiful beer garden with several large palm trees is the place to be in the warmer months. Plenty of outdoor dining opportunity here, too.

Since 1868 this Prahran institution has been serving up not only duck but other treats including charcuterie, seafood and premium meats and sides. Exposed brick and bare floorboards give a homely touch.
