Ever wanted to pretend you are a New York artist called "Katishe" who lives in an apartment? Even if you haven't, it's an interesting spot for a drink. This bar is modelled after a New York pad and has a lounge, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and games room to explore.

The interior and nick nacks are inspired by muse Katishe's life, and include board games, pinball and foosball.

This is the first bar I went to the very first night I moved to Melbourne, and it really sums up the eclecticism of this city.

The vipe is very loungey with the occasional 'House Party' to get you moving to some tunes, and the constant playing of classic film is a wonderful touch.

The crowd is a mix of Young Urban Professionals (YUPpies) and the odd backpacker congregation - in fact the Wednesday night backpacker night is quite popular and a good way to break the middle of the week.
