Partystar Review
This venue, under its guises, has been at the forefront of Melbournes underground dance club scene for a number of years now. They have succeeding in reinventing themselves numerous times in a very progressive fashion; and as a result, they have played host to a huge number of international guest dj's and performers, as well as a plethera of local champions, crossing a number of different genres.
Once through the door, chic and stylish, with a touch of glam, are perfect words to describe the venue. Tastfully furnished with warmlit lanterns, cosy couches, intimate booths designed for comfort and one of biggest ottomans in the known universe. Boasting four separate, varying in capacity, individually styled rooms; you'll find a friend and your comfort zone in one of them.
The bar shown in the picture ajoins the main room and usually displays the "main act".
However, the perhaps more comfortable backroom, has also had the odd feature act of late, and it has a sound system that rivels if not surpasses the main room.
Upstairs is another little disco in itself; hiding aloft, with its own mirrors, bar and dance floor.
The booths and the occassional punter, adorn the fourth room.
Seven has a late licence, so prepare yourself for a big one, and don't be surprised if the sun's already traversing heaven the next time you leave .....
Music is underground dance from RnB through to psy-trance.

Readers' Reviews
Seven is known to go off, especially on Thursday nights. Great DJs playing awesome tracks is to be expected. The venue is fairly big, and fills up around 11-12. Age group is mostly 17-20 however the occasional older person can be spotted. Dress is smart casual and girls with short skirts won't feel out of place. Seven attacks a dancey crowd though there is ample area/couches for sitting down. The bar gets crowded however isn't unreasonable. A major draw back of the venue can be getting in. Hence dont plan a boys night out. If planning a night out on Thursday get there before 10 for free entry and get stamped for $3.50 spirits all night.

The vibe changes every week, take a group of friends with you for a fun night. Seems smallish at first, but as the place fills up, you realise that it's quite a large venue. On Thursdays (absolutely kicking!) expect from 18s up to footy player-aged guys chilling and/or dancing along with the relatively cheaper drinks.
